Bonarda Boisée

Bonarda O.P. DOC
Only produced in excellent years from 100% Bonarda grapes. Harvested late, the carefully selected grapes yield 220 grams of sugar per litre of must. Slightly musky, they are put into small barrels that bring out their quality during fermentation. With a precise ageing time, encompassing periods spent in wooden barrels of various sizes and provenances, the wine develops a balance of aroma and taste that has become highly sought after. It comprises the fragrance and softness of youth with the gravitas of age, giving life to a singular bouquet. This wine has a vibrant garnet colour and a well developed, characteristically Bonarda nose. It is a wine of presence, full-bodied and velvety, ideal for ageing. A natural companion for pasta dishes, red meats and cheeses.
