Congratulations to Cabanon: wines from great soil, full-bodied and with a potency that expresses the power of sunshine. The 2007 Pinot Grigio’s undiluted, smooth-bodied Alsatian intensity, the 2007 Cabanon Blanc’s delicate allure of pear. The pure banana that rounds off the delicate bloom of the 2007 Cabanon Chardonnay is, oenologically, the vineyard’s best transformation. The raspberry pleasure of the 2007 Cabanon Ros’, the spicy smoothness of the dark, almost black 2004 Bonarda Boisée. Potency is married to an even greater fragrance in the 2005 Corvitis Riserva. The Sensazioni 2006 lives up to its marvellous name: its intensity roundly and majestically evokes fleshy plum jam all wrapped in a silky oakiness with a soft floral fragrance.

Sensazioni 2006 Cabanon. 86 points.
The highlights in its mauvish colour are the introduction to this champion wine of the highest quality, naturally followed by its majestic consistency: the seductiveness and smoothness of the fruit without a hint of aggression in the taste or in the abundant bouquet. The intense perfume denotes a really full body. The non-evanescent mix of fruit and spice: the smoothness continues spreading and expanding long after swallowing. The limpid and brilliant product of top-class winemaking.
Chardonnay 2007 Cabanon. 86 points.
Excellent allure to the palate, clearly focused winemaking, superb strength and notable density.
Corvitis Rosso Riserva 2005 Cabanon. 85 points.
Its touch of blackberry and the minty spices of clear oak have the strength and algidity of wines of superior roundness and warmth.
Cabanon Rosé 2007 Cabanon. 84 points.
Extremely delicate to the taste, fragrant and yet full in its bouquet. A rosé then of great strength, of a deep fleshy intensity.
Pinot Grigio 2007 Cabanon. 84 points.
Smooth and round on the palate, a real pleasure to experience in its fullness and harmony.
